The fully refurbished BASTION Hotel Schiphol/Hoofddorp is ideal for guests who prefer a personal atmosphere, hospitality, comfort, good facilities and competitive rates. The hotel now has 80 rooms.

We offer a free shuttle service from and to Schiphol. Timetable: every half-hour from 05.45 a.m. to 11.45 p.m.

The rooms are fitted with a colour television with free video channel, telephone, modem connection, radio alarm clock, desk, safe, minibar, free coffee and tea making facilities and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Services such as wake-up service, laundry service, fax/photocopying machine and tourist information are at your disposal at the reception desk.
Free Wireless Internet in the lobby, at the restaurant and in the bar. This service is availabe from 07h00 to 24h00.

The hotel has an attractive grill restaurant with an extensive à la carte menu. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

  In the morning, a varied breakfast buffet is served.

How to reach us :
The hotel is easy to reach and is situated off the Hoofddorp ring road, about 10 minutes from the A4, junction 3. The cosy city of Hoofddorp is easy to reach and Schiphol airport is about 15 minutes from the hotel. The hotel offers free parking for its guests. This hotel is also conveniently situated for Amsterdam, the train journey from Schiphol to the city centre takes less than 25 minutes.

By car: From Rotterdam/The Hague: Leave the motorway at junction Hoofddorp/Aalsmeer. Turn left at the traffic lights towards Heemstede. Turn right at the 4th traffic lights, junction Haarlemmermeersebos. The hotel is on the left.

From Schiphol/Amsterdam: Leave the motorway at junction Hoofddorp/Aalsmeer. Turn left at the traffic lights towards Heemstede. Turn right at the 3rd traffic lights, junction Haarlemmermeersebos. The hotel is on the left.

By public transport: From Schiphol: The bus station is opposite the terminal. Bus 174 to Haarlem departs every half-hour, from 05.50 a.m. to 00.20 a.m. Change to bus 140 and get off at bus stop Houtwijkerveld. Bus 52 to Noordwijk departs every half-hour, from 06.08 a.m. to 00.15 a.m. These buses also go to Hoofddorp.

To Hoofddorp centre: Take bus 140 to bus stop Houtwijkerveld, get off at bus stop Melis Spaansweg.

To Amsterdam centre: Take the shuttle or the bus to Schiphol and then take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. The train departs 6 times an hour during the day and once every hour after midnight. Bus tickets are available at the station, at Schiphol or in Hoofddorp.
