Hotel CITADEL, opened in
October 1992, is a three-star hotel offering four-star service.
The hotel lies in historic surroundings close to the city's Central
Station and the Royal Palace on "de Dam".

Our experienced staff will ensure that your stay goes well, while the

The forty stylish rooms
offer every comfort : bath or shower, toilet, hair dryer, telephone,
radio, and color TV with wide international selection of channels,
including a special movie channel.
In the mornings, our breakfast salon serves a complete Dutch breakfast
buffet.
Parties and individual
guests may choose to stay half or full-board, and may use our nearby
in-company restaurant Christoffel, where the traditional Dutch cooking
and mellow ambience guarantee an enjoyable culinary diversion.
Larger parties are welcome at EMB's other hotels within a 300 yard
radius.
Hotel CITADEL is uniquely
situated in the historic heart of Amsterdam.
 The
famous canals, the flower market, the Royal Palace, and the renowned
Bijenkorf and Magna Plaza department stores are all within a matter of
yards.
Hop on a tram or bus right in front of the hotel, and in ten minutes you
can be at the Rijksmuseum (National Museum), the Stedelijk Museum (City
Museum), the Van Gogh Museum, or one of the city's many other
attractions.
From the Central Station,
Schiphol Airport is about half an hour's train journey, and the RAI
Congress Center/Exhibition Complex and World Trade Center are only
fifteen minutes or so away.
By car, it is also about half an hour to the airport, fifty minutes to
Utrecht or Den Haag, and sixty-five to Rotterdam.
Hotel CITADEL guests are entitled to a 25% discount at the covered car
park in front of the Central Station (approx. 500 yards' walk).
