The fully refurbished BASTION Deluxe Hotel Amsterdam/Zaandam is ideal for guests who prefer a personal atmosphere, hospitality, comfort, good facilities and competitive rates. The hotel now has 40 standard rooms and 40 Deluxe rooms (with bath).

The standard rooms have colour television with free video channel, telephone, modem connection, radio alarm clock, desk, safe, minibar, free coffee and tea making facilities and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Deluxe-rooms rooms also have a cosy sitting area, and a bathroom with bath/shower and toilet.

The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Services such as wake-up service, laundry service, fax/photocopying machine and tourist information are available to you there.
Free Wireless Internet in the lobby, at the restaurant and in the bar. This service is available from 7h00 to 24h00.

The hotel has an attractive grill restaurant with an extensive à la carte menu. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

In the morning, a varied breakfast buffet is served.

How to reach us :
The hotel is easy to reach and is situated close to the A8 (junction 1). This hotel is also conveniently situated for Amsterdam, the famous Zaanse Schans is just 20 minutes away by car, at a distance of just 4 kilometres from the hotel. The hotel offers free parking for its guests.

By car: From Amsterdam: Take the A10 Ring-Amsterdam towards Zaanstad/Zaandam A8. Leave the motorway at junction Oostzaan/het twiske/Zaandam-Zuid. Turn right at the end of the junction. The hotel is to your left, after about 500 metres.

From Alkmaar/Hoorn: Take the A8 towards Zaanstad/Zaandam. Leave the motorway at junction Oostzaan/het twiske/Zaandam-Zuid. Turn right at the end of the junction. The hotel is about 500 metres down the road, on your left.

By public transport: From Schiphol: From Amsterdam Central Station take bus 94 to Wijk aan Zee, get off the bus at the crematorium. Walk along the street in the opposite direction; the hotel is at 2 minutes distance, on the left.

To the centre of Zaandam: Zaandam city centre is at about 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
